Supporting Varuna

Varuna relies on support from many organisations and individuals to keep our programs running, and to maintain Varuna as a quiet and reflective place where writers from around Australia can come to create extraordinary new work.

We are a registered charity, all donations over $2 are tax-deductible and are gratefully received. Donations will be directly reinvested into our fellowship, community and home maintenance programs.

In 2021 we established a targeted Equity Access Fund because we believe the experience of Varuna should be available to every writer. This fund assists writers who cannot afford to pay for program application fees, fellowship fees or travel expenses.
