RESIDENCIES
The residency program at Varuna is the only national residency in Australia dedicated to literature. We host around 200 writers each year, offering an inspirational environment for committed writers from all genres to work undisturbed on their projects.
Residences at Varuna are available through the following pathways:
Fellowships: Callouts for a wide range of opportunities run throughout the year.
Residencies by application. Callouts open throughout each year for residencies in the six months following.
Alumni residencies. Varuna alumni can request a residency at any time.
