TESTIMONIALS
“The peace and beauty of the house and garden setting, the amazing light and work set-up of the Jerra Studio - also one level and ensuite which was perfect for my needs. Loved the conversation in the lounge with the fire lit and the dinners with the other writers, and the creative conversations.”
“It’s hard to overestimate the importance of Varuna in my life. Residencies here have given me the time and space to work and think without interruption, and most of my writerly friendships originated in Varuna residencies. This latest residency allowed me to undertake a structural edit that would have been difficult at home with all the interruptions of family life. I have a number of health issues that make it difficult to live in close quarters with people other than family, so I greatly appreciated the space and privacy afforded by the Jerra Studio. ”
